All Things Needed (Ingredients):

  • ½ Cup Elmer's School Glue
  • ¼ Cup room temperature water (To combine with glue)
  • ½ Cup room temperature water (To combine with Simpli Starch®)
  • 2 teaspoons Simpli Starch®
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons contact lens solution

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix ½ cup of Elmer’s School glue with ¼ cup of room temperature water. Mix very well until fully combined and it appears like runny glue.
  2. In a separate smaller bowl, mix ½ cup of water with 2 teaspoons of Simpli Starch. This will create your liquid starch mixture. Stir very well until Simpli Starch is fully dissolved in the water.
  3. Add the Simpli Starch liquid starch mixture to the glue mixture in the larger bowl. Keep stirring.
  4. Add 3 teaspoons of baking soda into the larger bowl mixture.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons of contact lens solution to the larger bowl mixture.
  6. Now comes the fun part! Start mixing with a spoon really well until all ingredients are fully combined. The mixture will start to thicken and will begin sticking to the spoon as you mix in circles.
  7. Once the slime starts to stick to the spoon, pick it up with your hands and start kneading the slime over and over again to stiffen. Expect to knead the slime for at least 5 minutes to achieve best results. Enjoy!
